We May Sing events for the  Autumn term of 2022 have begun. After a Summer break we are so pleased to be back. The month of September brought us Lyndsey Scott & Maria Wood.

October we were blessed to have Elizabeth Melvin & Jess Baker.

November Brings a once off event of just one guest to join Tembre. A beautiful combination of two differant voices and expierience yet what they have in common is love for harmony singing and communing in a singing community.

Join us for a collection of heartfelt songs for your nourishment and enjoyment hosted by Tembre.

Tembre will be hosting this online community from her home in Portugal.

‘A wonderful afternoon! Thanks to all of our varied delightful leaders. Picks up your soul. The brightest gift if you you might call it that from this terrible pandemic is all the wonderful people I’ve met from all over the world that I would never have known otherwise. As I watch the gallery we did get a lot of joy from somewhere and it does appear the world hasn’t taken it away! Thanks again’
Bernie Remington UK

All are welcome – All songs are taught by ear in a call and response method, no experience needed. All voices welcome.
As with the nature of online singing, we as song leaders wont be able to hear you singing, but we will bring harmonies galore for you to hear and breath in.

Each leader will be bring a mix of original compositions and community songs, sung many times and lived in the hearts of thousands.

We will not be able to sing all together, as participants will be muted during singing. But the melodies, harmonies and songs will be brought to your home for you to sing along with from the comfort of your home, garden, bath, lounge or kitchen!

All welcome, neighbours, family members. Or this may be a perfect time just for yourself. Grab a cup of tea and join us.

PLEASE NOTE:

This is not a free event – We ask for each singer to make a donation – See details below

Lea Morris:

Lea was raised in Baltimore, singing with the Jones Family Gospel Singers. When she discovered the acoustic guitar as a teenager, she began teaching herself to play by writing songs. Having shared the stage with luminaries including Odetta, Mavis Staples, and Dar Williams, her sound seamlessly blends gospel, jazz, country, and R&B into her own style – SoulFolk. Lea works with preschoolers, elders, incarcerated, special needs and other marginalized groups, bringing the joy of singing and composition as a way of building confidence and community.
