We are so happy to be back offering We May Sing events for summer 2022

Once a month there will be a We May Sing event with two guest song leaders from around the world joining Tembre.

Join us for a collection of heartfelt songs for your nourishment and enjoyment hosted by Tembre. For the month of May two fab guests are returning to lead our WMS community. Kate valentine from the UK will be leading us in song & Heather from the states will be bringing her lovely voice. How exciting.

Tembre will be hosting this online community from her home in County Clare. Ireland.

All are welcome – All songs are taught by ear in a call and response method, no experience needed. All voices welcome.
As with the nature of online singing, we as song leaders wont be able to hear you singing, but we will bring harmonies galore for you to hear and breath in.

Each leader will be bring a mix of original compositions and community songs, sung any many and lived in the hearts of thousands.

We will not be able to sing all together, as participants will be muted during singing. But the melodies, harmonies and songs will be brought to your home for you to sing along with from the comfort of your home, garden, bath, lounge or kitchen!

All welcome, neighbours, family members. Or this may be a perfect time just for yourself. Grab a cup of tea and join us.

Tembre has been leading men, women and children in song in Ireland for 20 years. As a singer she feels blessed that she has been able to have music as her passion and her job for so many years, leading communities, families, choirs and students in song. Now leading virtual online. Her roles are as a choir leader, community musician, mentor, early years music educator and performer has brought heart, spirit and joy to many through the years and especially since Lockdown in 2020. Tembre leads in a natural organic way, creating a safe, held and fun space, inclusive of heart and exploration. Tembre has a love and passion for singing, easy melodies and harmonies that are accessible to all. She will be hosting this event for us all from her home in County Clare where she lives with her family.

Heather Pierson :

Heather Pierson is a pianist, singer/songwriter, songleader, and performer based in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She has released 14 albums, two songbooks, and several singles of her original music ranging in style from folk to jazz to vocal chants. Since 2018, she is the co-creator with fellow songleader Bernice Martin of Heart Songs & Circle Songs, a community singing project dedicated to the cultivation of harmony, wellness, connection, joy, and peace through music and song. When she isn’t making music, Heather enjoys her meditation practice, hiking, cooking, and writing.

Kate Valentine:

Kate Valentine is founder and network director of Singing Mamas CIC

Kate is a registered nurse who has grown and developed the Singing Mamas movement for over a decade, reaching thousands of women. She is gifted in nurturing people, noticing the unique gifts in each woman, teasing them out, allowing people to feel their worth, find their voice and take their place as a leader.

Kates passion for singing and for songs continually deepens as the years roll on.. she feels that she is merely scratching the surface of the treasures.. if the natural state of voices, songs and singing were woven into the fabric of our human experience.. we would recognise singing truly is for our survival.

How to use Zoom if you are new to it:

Once you have registered you will be sent a link by Tembre to the Zoom gathering , there will be a waiting room and Tembre will welcome you into the events from 3.50pm (8.50am PT) It may sounds a bit complicated but very easy and we will be there to welcome you.

On the day we suggest that you arrive before 4pm start to iron out any technical hitches in sound and video.

We suggest that you either use headphones or a speaker if the sound on your laptop is not great quality.

Also suggest that you upload and try out Zoom prior to the event.
