As a singer she feels blessed that she has been able to have music as her passion and her job. Her roles are as a choir leader\, community musician\, mentor\, early years music educator and performer. Tembre leads in a natural organic way\, creating a safe\, held and fun space\, inclusive of heart and exploration. Tembre has a love and passion for singing\, easy melodies and harmonies that are accessible to all. She will be hosting this event for us all from her home in County Clare where she lives with her family. \nwww.tembresong.com\nwww.facebook.com/tembredecarteretmusic \nUna McCann:\nUna is a musician and choir leader based in Belfast where she works with various groups of singers of all ages. A firm belief that ‘music is a joy that everyone should access’ underpins her work. Una arranges and adapts material to suit the people that she works with so that everyone can participate\, no matter their level of experience. Although new to the world of on-line choirs (aren’t we all?)\, Una has enjoyed sharing and exploring different ways to make these experiences fun and entertaining for all involved. \nMaria Wood:\nMaria is a song leader based in Ennistymon\, Co. Clare and runs a singing for wellness group\, an all men’s group\, two community song circles and a singing class for people who believe (or who have been told) they cannot sing. Maria is passionate about the fact that we all have a voice that should be allowed to be used in song. No one is exempt from this category\, no matter what story you have been told. To sing is to be whole\, to be free and to be connected to ourselves and others. Maria has now adapted to leading on line circles and has some new offerings coming soon.\nwww.singtoconnect.com \nIrene O’Meara:\nlrene\, or Renee as she is known to many\, has taught singing & led adult & children’s choirs for over 25 years. She leads The Village Singers in Castleconnel as well as pop-up workshops. She also works as a tutor in Drama/ Integrated Arts with Hibernia College and adjudicates at Drama Festivals\, runs acting workshops\, and designs CPD for teachers & therapists in the area of Expressive Arts. She loves facilitating groups\, developing the cohesive power of learning together & the joy of singing in harmony. \nMore details:\n\n\nThe three of us appreciate that at this time it may challenging financially\, emotionally and physically\, so we hope this gift of songs brought to your home will be nourishing for you and your family. \nHow to use Zoom if you are new to it: \nOnce you have registered you will be sent a link by Tembre to the Zoom gathering \, there will be a waiting room and Tembre will welcome you into the events from 3.50pm. Previously she has been conductor of Glória\, Ireland’s first Lesbian and Gay choir\, as well as UL Choral Society\, Diva Voces and Crosshaven Singers. She is a firm believer in the positive physical and mental health benefits of Singing and in 2008 established Ireland’s National (Choral) Singing Week in association with Wexford County Council Arts Office and Mental Health Ireland. In more normal times\, she works with singing groups in a range of healthcare\, elderly care and other community settings and hosts regular one-off ‘Sing from Scratch’ and workshop events encouraging people to get involved in singing activities.
