DESCRIPTION:We May Sing #8\nSinging workshop on Zoom\nWith Leading facilitators of song:\nTembre de Carteret\nSophia Efthimiou\nEbanie Powell\nSaturday 4th August 4pm-5:30pm (Ireland).\nA collection of heartfelt songs for your nourishment and enjoyment hosted by Tembre from County Clare in Ireland\, Sophia Efthimiou from the UK and Ebanie Powell from Galway Ireland. \nAll are welcome – All songs are taught by ear in a call and response method\, no experience needed. All voices welcome.\nAs with the nature of online singing\, we as song leaders wont be able to hear you singing\, but we will bring harmonies galore for you to hear and breath in. \nFrom the comfort of your home\, garden\, bath\, lounge or kitchen! \nAll welcome\, neighbours\, family members. As a singer she feels blessed that she has been able to have music as her passion and her job. Her roles are as a choir leader\, community musician\, mentor\, early years music educator and performer. Tembre leads in a natural organic way\, creating a safe\, held and fun space\, inclusive of heart and exploration. Tembre has a love and passion for singing\, easy melodies and harmonies that are accessible to all. She will be hosting this event for us all from her home in County Clare where she lives with her family. \nwww.tembresong.com\nwww.facebook.com/tembredecarteretmusic \nSophia Efthimiou:\nSophia is singer\, choir leader and music teacher based in London and Sussex. She has a unique and infectious style\, bringing a sweet balance of humour and depth to her workshops.\nHer warm and playful nature creates a sense of ease and unity\, enabling everyone to drop into a space that is both held and free. Her own dance and movement practices naturally inform her leadership style\, helping to bring the voice back into the body where it belongs. \nShe collects and teaches songs from different cultures and traditions from around the world\, leading harmony singing workshops with people of all ages\, abilities and backgrounds to bring out the natural voice and reinforce our innate human ability to make music. Her singing workshops are soul inspiring\, heart warming and empowering\, creating a sense of euphoria and connection for everyone involved. \n‘Until we can sing together again in person I’ll be offering some online workshops to keep the singing alive in our hearts. It’s a different way of being together in the music – people have found it very moving to see each other singing and know we are all experiencing the same song at the same time.’ \nwww.sophiaefthimiou.com \nEbanie Powell:\nEbanie is a natural voice leader based in Galway\, with roots in Somerset\, UK. Ebanie’s teaching style is easy\, playful and intuitive as she creates a joyful space to share our hearts and our voices. \nThe songs she shares are fluid\, soft\, fun and inspiring.
