As a singer she feels blessed that she has been able to have music as her passion and her job. Her roles are as a choir leader\, community musician\, mentor\, early years music educator and performer. \nTembre leads in a natural organic way\, creating a safe\, held and fun space\, inclusive of heart and exploration\, sharing sounds from accomplished song writers for community singing and her own compostitions. Tembre has a love and passion for singing\, easy melodies and harmonies that are accessible to all. Clare and runs a singing for wellness group\, an all mens group\, two community song circles and a singing class for people who believe (or who have been told) they cannot sing. Maria is passionate about the fact that we all have a voice that should be allowed to be used in song. No one is exempt from this category\, no matter what story you have been told. To sing is to be whole\, to be free and to be connected to ourselves and others. Maria has now adapted to leading on line circles and has some new offerings coming soon. \nMaria was part of the first We May Sing back in May. It’s lovely to have her return. \nwww.singtoconnect.com \nCandy Verney\n\nCandy Verney’s passion is to inspire and create\, through singing\, a sense of harmony which gives an experience beyond the ordinary. \nTeach na nAmhrán/The Song House\nOver the last 5 years she has fulfilled a dream of a lifetime\, by living in Ireland\, renovating and developing an inspirational retreat centre in the wilds of Co Donegal\, Ireland. She runs singing holidays and choir leadership trainings there. More information at www.thesonghouseireland.com. \nBackground:\nFrom 2013 – 2015 Candy developed The Trowbridge Song Project\, with the aim of building friendship and community between people from many countries\, by sharing their songs. We had 3 big concerts\, with acts from Africa\, Eastern Europe\, Turkey\, Jamaica\, Tibet\, Poland\, Guyana\, and massed choirs involving hundreds of singers. You can see videos on YouTube. \nFor 20 years Candy developed and directed a group of 5 choirs in Bath and West Wiltshire called “Singing in the Round”\, as well as a performance choir Sounding it Out. Susie has gone on to establish herself as a renowned workshop leader\, vocal coach\, teacher trainer\, ceremonial musician and the proud producer of her first professional solo album ‘ A thousand leaves’. Along with day workshops Susie runs weekend residential courses in improvisation and song co-creation\, teacher training courses for aspiring voice workshop leaders\, week long ‘SongShine’ intensive singing retreats abroad\, as well as being an internationally gigging musician. \nSusie leads singing workshops in the UK and internationally which are open to people of all singing abilities. She shares songs from across the globe in full harmony\, including her own compositions and arrangements. \nShe has hand picked songs over the years that have the ability to unlock the voice and open the heart in a powerful way\, yet are easy to learn and are all taught by ear. The songs come from around the world and from many traditions\, and include songs of joy\, peace and freedom in English and other languages. \nwww.susiero.com \n\n\nPatricia Norton:\nPatricia believes in singing for well-being. She has studied songleading with Lisa Littlebird\, improvisation with Rhiannon\, voice with Judi Vinar and others\, composing with Alice Parker. She started the Juneberry Choral Singing School in 2012\, to create a “way in” to choral singing for people who believed they could not sing. It grew rapidly\, and in 2016 she chose to merge with a local music school. \nIn addition to a 75+ member community chorus\, Patricia has offered Vocal Exploration and Choral Skills classes\, Circle singing\, and started a workplace choral group for staff in the local hospital. \nDuring the COVID-19 shutdown\, Patricia went online\, and with the support of her dog snoring under the piano\, she hosts Pocket Songs for learning short\, satisfying songs\, and Vocal Soundings for improvisation and growth. \nhttps://uvmusic.org/\n \nRegistration link below.
