Two creative days in a community of women. Creating a basket each day with your own hands facilitated by Joanna ,while immersing yourself in circular songs full of harmony led by Tembre – Creative connection and fun for our hands and hearts.

Facilitation for both days by two facilitators from 10:20am – 4:30pm
Refreshments available all day of tea, coffee and herbal teas with sweet treats
Simple but nourishing homemade lunch of Soup and bread for each day. Catering for dietary needs.

Tembre · Community Song leader
An experienced community songleader who creates a warm, welcoming space for all
Voiced & abilities. She will bring a basketful of community’s songs & original songs inspired by the Earth, creating with our hands, heart and connection to community. Tembre inspires you to reconnect with the singing you were born to do. All songs taught by ear in a relaxed and inclusive way. No one sings by themselves. We will sing nourishing and inspiring circular songs in a collective while weaving You are in safe singing hands

Joanna Callaghan · Willow Weaving
Joanna Callaghan is a basket weaver, seat weaver and fine artist. Her work explores and examines the natural environment and our place within it.
Joanna experiments with ways of creating art using wild local natural materials for painting, sculpture, drawing, printing, weaving and dyeing. Her practice involves working collaboratively with members of the public and organisations to provide a creative art experience that enhances connection to local ecology and landscape. She works with processes of weaving, paper making, clay work, art making and other forms of creative engagement, the emphasis being to explore and experiment. She runs creative workshops in natural environments that emphasise the amazing beauty and variety of our natural world and the myriad wonderful ways we can engage with it.
She will be facilitating us all for the two days in Willow and natural materials weaving of a two baskets over the two days while at the same time collaborating with Tembre for a nourishing and immersive experience through song and weaving.
She is currently undertaking a PhD in Fine art at Birmingham City University.

Cancellation Policy
As this is a small, intimate gathering with only 14 places available, every booking plays an important part in making the event possible.
- There is a non‑negotiable £50 deposit.
- Refunds are only possible if your place can be filled from the waiting list.
- 30+ days before the event: Full refund minus £50 if someone takes your place.
- 14–29 days before: 50% refund minus £50 if someone takes your place.
- Less than 14 days: No refund unless your place is filled; then refund minus £50.
- August & September bookings: Cancellations within 2 weeks of booking receive a full refund.
- You may transfer your booking to another person at no extra cost.
- If Tembre and Joanna cancel, you receive a full refund.

Tembre has been leading communities in song for over 25 years in Ireland and guest facilitation in Europe and the UK. Over the past 5 years she has online offerings and collaborations with other guest song leaders. She brings gathered community songs and original compositions to the space
