Singing Mamas is the UK’s largest grassroots movement for maternal mental wellbeing. We empower women to become leaders who deliver evidence-based singing for wellbeing programmes in their local community and health care settings.

Singing Mamas is an award-winning global movement for maternal wellbeing in the UK & its now in Ireland with a handfull of Singing mama leaders and more to come.

Our Mission:  Empowering women globally to lead singing for maternal wellbeing.

Our Values:

Connected: We empower Women to grow together, we uphold and inspire one another with deep care and we practice from a place of self-love.

Courageous: We lead from the heart, push the boundaries of our creativity and willingly step into discomfort.

Inclusive: We recognise inequality and work alongside women to create change.

Aims of a Singing mama group for women is to offer a  nurturing ,  supportive and connected singing for mothers with baby in arms. All songs are taught by ear in a relaxed and inclusive way for ease and enjoyment.

No prior singing experience needed, we are following on from the lasting oral tradition of learning and sharing songs by ear. Be part of the movement!

“Because we are absolutely about the singing and not the sound. The experience, not the music.”

About Tembre

Tembre is a community song leader with over 25 years of experience guiding women, men and children in song across Ireland. She leads in a natural and inclusive way, creating spaces where people can feel nourished through song and connected through community.
Tembre is happy to be offering this new set of sessions for women, mamas with babies in the area of County Clare. Bringing her experience of a mother, space holder and Somatic therapist into a circle.
Inspired by the beauty of the natural world and our deep connection to one another, Tembre shares a rich collection of both community and original songs. Her approach is gentle, organic, and accessible, making it easy for everyone—regardless of experience—to join in and enjoy singing in harmony.
Alongside her work as a choir leader and community musician, Tembre is also a mentor and somatic therapist. She brings this depth to her facilitation, holding a safe, supportive, joyful and regulating space where we can explore our voices through harmonious ease.
Tembre feels deeply grateful to have music as both her passion and her profession, and she loves collaborating on retreats, gatherings, and events, both in person and online.
She lives in county Clare Ireland with her family
